Where I Write

Some people think I must have a very cool office somewhere in a skyscraper. Or that I might have a writing studio in the woods. Both of those would be cool! The truth is sort of boring, though.

  My desk

There's a room in my house I use for an office. It's an open room with no doors and people walking through, which is hard sometimes. But I do most of my work while the house is empty, so it's OK.

But one thing I love about poetry, especially, is that I can work on it anywhere—in the car, while I'm walking by the lake, or even when I'm grocery shopping. So I guess you could say that the whole world is my office!
