At the end of February, I visited four elementary schools in Albert Lea, Minnesota. It was an adventurous week, with a school closing for weather, schedule changes, and rooms full of kids! Wow. It was kind of a shock to my system after two years of not gathering, but it was amazing. The media specialists, Staci Waltman and Kristen Seeger, were terrific, and they had done an incredible amount of prep with the students. Here are just a few highlights from my days there (shared with permission of the schools):

Students and faculty and staff of Hawthorne, Lakeview, Sibley, and Halverson Elementaries–THANK YOU and I miss you! (Waving hi to all of you!)
