My Signed Nonfiction Books Are on Sale

November 23, 2015 By Laura

Hi, folks! Wow, NCTE was an amazing whirlwind, and once I recover, I will share some pictures here. That will likely be next week. This week, I’ll be taking care of all the post-conference tasks plus catching up on emails and such that I ignored while learning, sharing, and laughing with you guys at NCTE.

do turtles sleep in treetopsSince this week marks the semi-official “oh-dang-I-better-start-my-holiday-shopping” season, I thought I’d share this: I’m selling my nonfiction books I have piled up. They’re brand new books–I donate them on school visits and such, but I’ve got to clear out my shelves. If you’d like to buy one or more for your classroom library or for holiday gifts, now’s a good time. I sell them through Amazon at $13 each plus shipping. But right now I’m selling them directly for $10 each plus $3 media mail shipping for your total order. See what’s available here, but then contact me to order for the discounted rate through PayPal. (I also have a few other titles at different prices, including the out-of-print Stampede! Poems to Celebrate the Wild Side of School. Just ask if you’re interested in a particular title.) I’m happy to sign and personalize all books.

No, seriously–have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for my supportive community of teachers, writers, and readers!

JANUARY NEWS

I loved the holidays! And I'm so glad they're over. A quiet, snowy January is just what I need. This month, I'm working on two board book manuscripts, and I'm making materials to go with my 3 spring 2023 books.

I'm also busy prepping for upcoming author visits and setting my goals and priorities for 2023. Wishing you a lovely start to your own new year!
