Hey, guess what? Author Angie Quantrell interviewed me for her blog, and the post is live! It’s not too long and has pictures of donuts, treadmill desks, adorable kids, and did I mention donuts? And a bit about my writing process for Clover Kitty Goes to Kittygarten. I hope you’ll stop by and say hi! Thanks:>)

I adore Clover Kitty! Thanks for stopping by my blog and sharing an interview and fun pictures! Purrfect!
Great interview Angie and Laura! Angie, your grandchild are adorable! Laura, thank you for giving some insight to your writing process. Anxiety and sensory overload is an excellent topic for a picture book and Clover seems like a great character. I have worked with many students who have difficulties like this. Now, with Covid there will be many more students suffering from anxiety. I wonder if you and your publisher might want to think about creating more books about Clover Kitty and how she deals with her issues during Covid in in-person classes and virtual learning…I enjoyed reading.
Thank you, Gail! I would love to do more Clover books. But by the time they were illustrated and published it would be 2 years at least. And hopefully Covid won’t be hanging over our heads like today. Your comment does make me wonder, though, if I could make a few graphics about Covid using Clover art (with the illustrator’s and pub’s permission). Hmmm…something to think about–thank you!
