David Harrison
I hope you’ll take three and a half minutes to listen to this public radio interview with poet David Harrison. Not only to hear excerpts from and learn more about Goose Lake, his lovely e-collection that I reviewed here, but also because it’s really wonderful to just hear the voice of our online poet friends. I love blogs (here’s David’s), articles, Facebook, etc. And I’m not one to click on many videos and sound files. But I’m trying to do this a little more, to take advantage of hearing that person’s voice or seeing that person’s face. To make stronger connections. Because that’s what we’re here for.
You know you don’t have to ask me twice. I also enjoyed the video of David reciting one of his wonderful poems that Sylvia Vardell recently posted on her blog – so much good feeling and energy behind it. He’s agreed to come on NWR in the near future, so let’s hope that comes through and we get to see more of him! Thanks for this link!
I agree–he’s such a warm reader! Look forward to seeing him on NWR!

Thanks for a little more about David & his book, Laura. I have enjoyed reading the poems very much. They are a constant pleasure!
They are really lovely, aren’t they. I often read a poem or two from Goose Lake on my iPhone just before yoga class. Puts me close to nature:>)
