Teaching Is Easy–You Should Try It, Too!

I had a lovely email a while back from a teacher who had my book, Heart of a Teacher, and wanted to know if she could use the poem “I Think You Should Try It Too) at a teacher appreciation event at another school in her community. I said of course, and she recently sent a note about the event and said everyone had “a great time singing I Think You Should Try It and laughed so hard. I left a copy of your book in their teacher’s lounge.”

Loved hearing this and thought I would share the poem again, since it’s the end of the school year!

I Think You Should Try It Too

Happy summer, teachers! You have EARNED it!

  1. I always loved advice from someone who’d never taught! Loved this!
