Back in September, I shared Heather Montgomery’s wonderful book about bug bad behavior, How Rude! (Scholastic, 2015).
Remember that?
Anyway, the giveaway of Nancy Bo Flood’s lovely water book was a big success, and not too hard to do, so I’m giving away my signed paperback copy of Heather’s fabulous picture book. Interested? Go back and read my previous post about it, and then enter below. Easy peasy! (Please note: You need to click ON the method you want to use to enter below. Leaving a comment or Tweeting doesn’t enter you in the giveaway unless you first click on “Leave a blog post comment” or “Tweet about the giveaway” in the Rafflecopter box.)
Good luck!

I was not able to enter the giveaway Laura.
Well, shoot. I just entered myself…would you be able to try it again, Kim? The first giveaway went so smoothly–not sure why I’m suddenly having Rafflecopter issues.
My great-granddaughter would LOVE that book. Her “need-to-know” needs are live and well. I’m entering the drawing.
Great, Martha! (And I see you’re officially entered, so your entry is all set.)
I would love to win a copy sign me up
Sue, you have to enter through the Rafflecopter box, please!
Rafflecopter worked for me, Laura. The book looks fun, guess I now know why that cover art: The tortoise beetle larva wears poop! Ew is right. Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks, Linda–I think a few people tried before I put the fixed version back in. Fingers crossed, anyway. :>)
When I fist read your post about this book, I was a quite grossed out. I mean seriously who really wants to know that the tortoise beetle larva stockpiles his poop? Then, I had my Scholastic book fair two weeks ago and was able to get a first hand look at the book. Wow! What a great book. I was peddling it to anyone who would listen. I am happy to say that I had to place a restock for this little gem before the fair was over. I would love a signed copy!
Yay–so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for hand-selling it!
This book sounds so cool with all the “disgusting” appealing things bugs do. I have several kids in mind who would enjoy reading this book.
Good luck, Ann!
I really, really want to read this book and share it with my grubby little grandchildren. They love stuff like this. Thanks for the chance to win.
Good luck, Rosi!
Looks like my kind of book–putting it on my to-read list!
Excellent–yes, you’ll learn all sorts of cool stuff.
Thanks for sharing this. Looks like an intriguing read.
It is!
Hi Laura – I still need to get my hands on this one. I am sure kids would love it. Thanks for doing the giveaway. I will be sure to tweet it. 🙂
Thanks, Alyson!
Somehow I missed How Rude the first time around. It sounds like the perfect book for one of my great nephews. Thanks.
GLad you got to hear of it this time:>)
This looks like a very interesting book and if you are endorsing it then I’ve got to get my hands on it. Thanks for sharing.
It’s really engaging, in a nice, gross way:>)
I was also thinking about poetry – and you mentioned 2 of the bugs that came to mind, Lee’s and Leslie’s. Another one I thought of was Douglas Florian’s “Un-BEE-lievables.” This book looks liek fun, if the cover is any indication!
* (2 of the BOOKS – not ‘bugs!’ – that came to mind!)
Oh, yes! That’s a fun one, too!
This looks mighty interesting! Thanks for sharing!
It is, Myra!
