I’m heading to NCTE later this week and can’t wait to catch up with many writer and educator friends. I’m part of two sessions–one with many wonderful nonfiction writers, where Irene Latham and I will share a table discussing nonfiction poetry and another focusing on digital literacy and sharing student voice using digital tools and inspiration (with Carol Varsalona, Margaret Simon, Paul Hankins, and other awesome educators)–two signings, and several smaller events. The sessions are both roundtables, which is why I’ve shared here what my focus will be at my table. Here are the public things I’m part of–please note the CLA Breakfast is a separate ticket. The speakers are always wonderful, though, and it’s well worth it!
Will you be there? Please comment if you will be. I’d love to know who to be looking for as I wander dazed through the exhibit hall:>)
Your schedule looks as full as mine. I hope we cross paths more than once. I can’t wait!
I will miss seeing you this year, Laura, but I’ll be there in spirit!
I will see you Laura!
Kim????
So great to see you there, Kim, with your adorably stylish curls!
