I’ve committed to going to NCTE this November in St. Louis, and I’m so excited! I’ll be doing a roundtable with Carol Varsalona and a bunch of other writers, poets, and Wonderopolis fans. (I think Irene Latham and Charles Waters will be on that roundtable session, too?) And I’ll probably be doing a signing at the Lerner booth.
Other than that, my schedule is wide open. I can’t wait to see writer friend, teacher friends, and industry friends. So…
Who’s going?
Even though I’m an introvert, I hope to fill up my Thursday-Saturday with meet-ups, sessions, and events. Maybe even more speaking possibilities. I always learn so much and come away more impressed than ever with the work of today’s teachers and literacy leaders.
So, if you’re going, would love to hear what you’re going to be up to. November feels miles away right now, but I know it will be here in a flash!
Hi Laura, I’ll be there. I am chairing a panel discussion on boy’s reading and writing with a powerhouse panel of authors: Ralph Fletcher, Dan Gemeinhart, Peter Reynolds, Jason Reynolds, and Jon Scieszka. This year, thankfully, I am only doing one session rather than 4 like last year, so I’ll be more available. I hope we can get together.
Wow–that should be amazing! Yes, 4 is just too much. I’d like to add maybe one more to mine, though. We definitely should get together:>)
Me and Irene will be there. Looking forward to finally meeting you!
