I know lots of teachers I meet up with want to write kids’ books, so I just wanted to share that I’m giving a webinar on work-for-hire writing. These are largely the series nonfiction books that school libraries buy. If you’re interested in learning more about this field and whether you might want to give it a try, you can learn more about the webinar here. It’s for SCBWI France, but it’s about writing for the U.S. book market, and it will be in English. Everybody’s welcome!
It’s happening during the daytime on Wednesday, September 22, but registered attendees will have access to a replay for 2 weeks afterward. It’s only 15-25 euros. More info here!
Hope to see some of you there :>)
Hi Laura, your webinar has intrigued me. How much would it be in US dollars? Thanks, in advance, Carol
Carol, today, that would be about $30. The exchange rate varies a bit from day to day. ????
Okay. Thanks.
Okay. Thanks. I’m registered!
Perfect timing…I’m sharing this with librarian writers I know right now! Thank you!
Thanks, Linda!
Laura, thank you for the invitation. I just signed up for your webinar and I rejoined SCBWI! However, my booking confirmation email says your session is 8:00-9:00 PM, which is fine I’m just wondering if it’s eastern, central, or mountain time. Do you know?
Hi Gail, That’s 8pm in France, which is the SCBWI that’s hosting the webinar. It’s at 1:00 p.m. US Central. Hope to see you there. If not you’ll get to watch the recorded thing, and then you can ask me any questions you have 🙂
