A Fun Craft for a Rainy Day

May 31, 2023 By Laura

Rainy season is here! Here’s a fun craft to go along with my board book, Puddle Song. You can do the coloring and cutting while it’s raining, and then go outside and make your creations bloom in the puddles. Have fun! Click on the image below to visit my Puddle Song page, where you’ll see the downloadable pdf as well as a video with directions. It couldn’t be any easier!

[My Classroom Connections posts share a way to connect one of my books or poems to a classroom topic–often something timely that you might be covering in the next month or so. Please share this post if you have educator friends who might be interested–thanks!]

SEPTEMBER NEWS

Whee! It's fall, the time of fresh starts. I'm busy working with a web designer to redesign my site--yikes. That's a big project. But I started off the month with a family visit in Florida, which was great. Now I'm prepping for a fall-themed storytime at the South St. Paul Library on Sep. 26 at 10:30 a.m. Hope you can come!
