Write a Snowperson List Poem #ClassroomConnections

January 13, 2021 By Laura

If you live in a cold climate, it’s prime snowman-building time! That makes it a great time to talk about the states of matter and how snow and ice are forms of water. Here’s a printable .pdf students can use to write a snowman list poem.

It’s one of a handful of materials (including water cycle and states of matter videos and activities) I created to go with Water Can Be… Check out the rest here!

[My Classroom Connections posts share a way to connect one of my books or poems to a classroom topic–often something timely that you might be covering in the next month or so. Please share this post if you have educator friends who might be interested–thanks!]

MAY NEWS

All 3 of my 2023 books are out now! Thank you to everyone who's celebrated with me, shared the books, or read/reviewed them. <3

Right now, I'm recovering from National Poetry Month! I'm also working on 2 tricky picture book revisions, and I'm preparing for a bunch of speaking events and storytimes! Join Yvonne Pearson and I for two loon-themed outdoor storytimes on June 6 and August 1. And on July 14, I'll be storying up a storm at Robert Trail Library! Hope to see you there!
