Like most everybody else, I’m experiencing lots of upheavals lately! I have no huge National Poetry Month plans–just hoping to share an imagepoem here each day (or as often as I can). I’m participating in Laura Shovan’s awesome #WaterPoemProject the best I can, so most of my poems will come from either that or from the PAD (Poem A Day) Challenge at Writers Digest. Grateful for the distraction of poetry and friends!

I love this two-perspective poem. “Diamond gown” and “crystal sashay” are exquisite. I would have to side with Willow, though.

Love it. My daughter and I love to stop and admire a young willow tree when we’re out for a walk through the neighborhood. It is just beginning to bud. Soon we’ll be able to hide among its draping branches!
Somewhere on my laptop I have a stunning pic of a weeping willow covered w rime ice or frozen fog that I took many winters ago…SO wanted to use it w this poem, but couldn’t put my hands on it. Enjoy your walks soon!
