Whee! It’s the book birthday for Secrets of the Loon (Minnesota Historical Society Press, 2020)! So for today’s poem, I’m sharing the opening quatrain of this rhyming picture book. I’m thrilled to welcome this book into the world. Loons are fascinating, and I think this loon chick’s survival story will inspire readers.
Also, Jena Benton interviewed me for a Simply 7 interview at her blog today! Thank you, Jena!
AND, though our in-person events were all canceled, Chuck and I are excited about our online launch party (including 3 signed book giveaways) on Monday, May 4th, at 3 p.m. Central Time. Whee! Hope to see you there!
