Hello! I just realized it’s getting a bit late to share my poem about fall’s arrival, so I’d better hop to it! At the beginning of the month, I shared my hymn about fall from a dog’s point of view. A hymn about fall had been our Poetry Princess assignment for October. Now, as the month is getting near ending, here’s the other poem I wrote for it.
Sigh. I do love autumn.
Part of autumn is NCTE! I’ll be going to St. Louis and have a hotel room reserved with the conference hotel–the Holiday Inn Convention Center. It’s only got one king bed, but I promise not to hog. Or I’ve also requested a rollaway cot. So if you’re looking for a room for the 16th-19th (Thu, Fri, and Sat nights), let me know! I’m non-smoking and non-snoring. Your share of room would be about $100 per night. You can leave a comment or send me an email through the email icon in the peach circle at the top of the page.

I love this poem. So fun to see the breadth of your poetry.
