Today’s poem from my new 30 Painless Classroom Poems book, Fairy Tale Garage Sale, comes from the Giant.
Note from the Poet:
Sometimes, I just have a gross sense of humor, and that’s what I’m showcasing in this poem. Can you imagine if a vicious giant had to stop eating meat? I love that idea!

I love fractured fairy tales, especially a different look at stories we know so well. That poem is completely awesome 🙂
Thanks, Melissa. I had a blast writing this book!

Loved this one, Laura. I can hear kids squeal when it’s read to them. I’m looking to reading many more in my own copy!
Thank you, Linda:>)

I love your gross (your word) sense of humor Laura. I wonder if, given today’s love affair with Kale????
My veggie diet will prevail
but I draw the line at eating Kale!
Some say it is acquired taste;
I ingest then spit in haste.
Hehehe–love that. My husband abhors kale. I’ll have to pass this along.
