Love these poemsketches! We have so many flashlights tucked around the house. You never know when you’ll have to “slice open the dark”
Flashlight? Did someone say flashlight?? 😉 It feels like your poem sketch was the “prologue” to my book!
Fun Poem Laura! Your line, ” the jumble of a junk drawer” reminds me of Edward Lear’s poem ” The Jumblies,” which is a favorite of mine! I like how the ray of your flashlight changes from yellow to orange too!
