Flying Home

Well, if you’ve been following along, you’ve seen that Oregon was just amazing. And suddenly, it was time to leave.

I have no photos of the leaving. That’s always the hard part of a trip, even when I’m maybe ready to get back home and back to my routines.

Even though it’s not the topic of today’s poem, the actual reason for our trip was a wedding celebration. Our younger daughter Maddie married an Oregon guy recently, and Randy and I went to Oregon to meet his family and celebrate (again)! So, here are a few pics of us with our new extended family-in-law. The first pic is us with Maddie and Jesse. All the other folks are Jesse’s family members (and now ours too). There was a lot of laughter and storytelling going on. Can you tell?
