Happy Poetry Friday, and welcome to all! (Wondering what Poetry Friday is? Click here.)
I’m heading out on a 5‑day, 10-library, 3‑hotel For the Love of Loons storytime tour in the Kitchigami Regional Library system of Minnesota! The August whirlwind continues :>)
Before I start two frantic days of prep and packing, I’ll quickly share a poetryaction I wrote recently to the colassal squid spread in At the Poles, a fabulous poetry collection from David Elliott and Ellen Rooney.
(You can see all my poetryactions here.)
And for lots of wonderful poetry, don’t miss the Poetry Friday Roundup with poet and educator Rose Capelli. She’s always thoughtful and inspiring!Save

Enjoy, Laura! Enjoy, enjoy, ENJOY! #thatisall (Your poem is a delight, as always. Beautiful rhythm.)
Wishing you a colossally beautiful library tour!
I enjoyed AT THE POLES, too. David Elliot is inspirational! Really love octopus eyes as doubloons! Safe travels!
