Good morning! I’m going to share some poetryactions this week, because it’s been a while! Hope you like them!
Whale Trails, a fun and wonderfully structured book by Lesa Cline-Ransome made me think of the whale-watching trip Randy and I went on in 2010 when we went to Boston. Whales are so huge, you’d think, “How could we miss them?” But they sometimes would come and go and disappear before we could get to the right side of the boat. Still an amazing experience!

Guess what? Your pictures appeared. I guess they were hiding too. Just wanted you to know, it worked after all. My computer might be moving slow. After all, it is Monday.
I went over to pinterest and read several of your poems and a not-so-unusual idea struck me. Have you ever thought of gathering all those poems into a book? I’d buy it. Love the concept of picture book (not necessarily your own), and matching it with a poem. Creative and fun. Makes me want to join in. Very nice!
Hi Sue, Thanks–I HAVE thought of it, but the work involved in indie-publishing is so immense for the 20 copies I sell of those books (like my 30 Painless Classroom Poems series). I do hope to write some blog posts for teachers about how to use and write poetryactions in the classroom and keep sharing the poetryactions here on my blog and on Pinterest. But maybe someday–a book! I sure won’t rule it out. Thanks for the encouragement.
