Happy Holidays and poetryaction to Camp Rex

Good morning, my wonderful kidlit community. I feel like we are a beautiful forest, stronger because we grow together. Thank you for being part of my kidlit world:>)

And now, for today’s Kidlit Combos:

Camp Rex and I Am Cow

Camp Rex

I Am Cow, Hear Me Moo! is a wonderful rhyming picture book. So much fun! And a great pairing with Camp Rex. My poetryaction this week is a zeno. I’m still loving that form!

  1. I love the idea of us all growing a beautiful forest together. I am not familiar with many picture books. Did he really catch a trout with his head? Hilarious!
    Happy Holidays!

    1. Thanks, Margaret! The fish on head is just in the art:) It’s a pretty crazy camping trip, though!

  5. Camp Rex sounds like a great book. Our family has had outings something like this. I want to look for this book!

    Merry Christmas to you too!

    1. Thanks, Linda! My parents were big hiker/campers, and we had many backpacking vacations when I was a kid. My husband and kids and I–not so much. We are more like the Camp Rex version. :>)
