I don’t celebrate silliness enough, and I don’t know why. When I do read something silly that is expertly done, I like it. But then it will be many months before I look for more. I tried to borrow Juliette MacIver’s wonderful silly style for my poetryaction!
Here I am reading my poetryaction:

Laura,
I like the title: Toucan Can. That’s an empowering title. I love your poem’s silly, playful mood. It’s also a tongue twister!

Laura,
Another thought…would you consider reading us this poem in another post? Do you sometimes record a reading of your poetryaction poems? You could challenge us to read it several times quickly since it is a tongue twister.
Thanks, Linda. I generally only do soundclouds of Poetry Friday poems. Just can’t keep up. But…since it’s a special request, I’ll do the Toucan Can one when I record Friday’s poem, and I’ll add it back to this post:>)
Wow! Special thanks to you, Laura! I look forward to hearing your reading of Toucan Can!
