Laura I think this is a wonderful poem to use with kids
And would be a fun writing project for them to do I think it would be fun if they did a few tings like roller paperclip book pen crayons I can’t what to work on my next story for the preschoolers I read to I,m thinking I might use your new book glade you had a wonderful weekend

The joke’s on me Laura. I’ll blame it on the rain (which we need). My first read produced “black” paper and it made a bit of sense, especially with words like wand and magic — then came the pencil eraser which caused me to read it again — duh — “blank” paper, of course. Fabulous Riddle-ku and thanks for the smiles.
Heehee. Sometimes I mishear the lyrics to a song, and the phrase is evocative enough that it sends me to the computer to write a poem based on it. Sometimes I like my mishearing better than the real lyric:>)
