packed down by day’s heavy feet–
welcome high tide’s sweep

I know more and more poets (including me) are at least thinking about e‑publishing as print publishers buy fewer and fewer poetry collections and anthologies. Terrific poet David L. Harrison has fought in those trenches and has posted?a series called “About This Business of Publishing on the Internet” on his blog. If this is a venture you’ve thought about, check out David’s (and guest posters’) thoughtful posts. I’ve read only the first one, so I’ll be reading the other three posts this week. Maybe I’ll see you there!

Ooh, I like anticipating the high tide’s sweep.
Since all I do with my poetry is share it online, I guess I should read that article. I’m hoping online + poetry = a new revolution in reader interest.
Thanks, Sara. I think the problem with poetry online is there’s so much terrible stuff it’s hard to find the gems without the filter of a publisher (or organization) of some kind. At least, that’s been my experience…But the accessibility of it is so promising!

I like that ‘sweep’ too Laura. Thanks for the link to the publishing tips too.
Thank you, Linda!
