Happy National Poetry Month!
Here’s today’s #wonderbreak. [Want to learn more or join in?]
I told you guys this month’s poems would celebrate little things I love. They might not always be literally this little, but I figured I’d start out with this small item.
I love little packets of sauces and jellies. They’re just so tidy and clean–no crusty jar lids and no decision making about how much to have. They always feel like a mini-luxury to me. A tiny wonder. I’ll make my full confession here: At our Paris hotel, which included a fantastic breakfast spread every morning, I pocketed several thimble-sized jars of marmalade/jam to bring back to our daughter Annabelle. She loves them as much as I do:>) We are an outlaw family.

I do to… but you do need to remember that they are there…like in your purse…like before they rupture…ask me how I know! LOL!
I’m doing poetry for Vanity Plates this month. At least none of these have been sticky yet!
I love how this poetry month I will be learning these little tidbits about your personality. I want to join in. Waiting for the muse. Hopefully sometime today.
Orange marmalade is my favorite, too. I love your confession, Laura, a good start to the month with your wonders!
Ha! Pocketing the marmalade to bring back to the offspring is something I would have done too. When my kids were young we used to build towers them while waiting for a meal. (Probably not something I should have encouraged…)

teeters.….crash! quick! stack them back before the waitress returns!
I hate those packets
They really make such a mess
This I must confess
