One spot we visited during our Oregon trip was Yaquina Head Lighthouse. Perched on top of a cliff looking out over the Pacific, it’s a beautiful, simple, elegant structure. We checked out the lighthouse, watched swarms of nesting seabirds floating on the ocean, watched seals sunning and playing below on the rocks, and visited the Visitor Center. It was a gorgeous blue-sky day, and I wish we’d had longer to really take everything in. Maybe someday…
And here’s my skinny poem for today.
