Wind turbines are so cool. Our old suburb had one that I drove by almost daily. I don’t have one that close anymore, but I still see them regularly, and there are several close in to the actual cities. Once you’re out in farmlands, you see fields of them occasionally.

Today’s skinny poem came from two different thoughts. One was that I’m low-level anxious about flying, and recent crashes have NOT helped that. Two was Liz Garton Scanlon’s middle-grade novel, LOLO’S LIGHT. It has a scene of an event that’s devastatingly sad,and yet Liz wrote it in such a tender

Here’s today’s skinny. I don’t know how my sister’s been handling all the Dad stuff on her own. My help’s only temporary, but I’m glad to be here for her. It’s a good thing my standards are low for both the drafting and doodling on this month. I keep repeating
