Here’s today’s skinny. I don’t know how my sister’s been handling all the Dad stuff on her own. My help’s only temporary, but I’m glad to be here for her. It’s a good thing my standards are low for both the drafting and doodling on this month. I keep repeating

Well, if you’ve been following along, you’ve seen that Oregon was just amazing. And suddenly, it was time to leave. I have no photos of the leaving. That’s always the hard part of a trip, even when I’m maybe ready to get back home and back to my routines. Even
In Oregon and northern California, Randy and I spent a couple of days driving up the coast. Wow. It’s hard to capture in photos, because it’s mostly NOT (thank goodness) crazy high cliffside views. It’s forests and curvy roads with occasional bursts of blue water, waves, sky, and nifty offshore
One spot we visited during our Oregon trip was Yaquina Head Lighthouse. Perched on top of a cliff looking out over the Pacific, it’s a beautiful, simple, elegant structure. We checked out the lighthouse, watched swarms of nesting seabirds floating on the ocean, watched seals sunning and playing below on
