I am SO excited! I blogged recently about some concerns I had about BookSpeak’s availability, and it turns out it was all for a very good reason. My agent got confirmation today that Clarion/Houghton is reprinting BookSpeak! Yay!
I also realized that I should have asked my editor at Clarion/Houghton directly rather than wonder about this publicly. I hate to bother busy publisher people with questions, so I was trying to tap you guys’ experience and knowledge first. But that really wasn’t the polite first step. Now I know for next time.
I’m absolutely thrilled that BookSpeak is making its way out into the world and finding a home in the hands of many book-lovers! Doing a happy dance right now…:>)

Congratulations, Laura! This is such exciting news for you — and for all the kids who get to read your book! 🙂
Thanks, Renee–I am just thrilled! (Though I’d still like to go to Italy with that one available copy on Amazon there:>)

Laura,
I love your book and have shared it with others and especially a second grader I tutor in math. We use poetry time for enjoyment and a break during our math time. She loves “Hyrophobiac” and “Calling All Readers”, in fact she learned “Calling All Readers” by heart after the first reading! So glad about your news and that it is going to be reprinted. My little tutee’s mom is going to buy the book for her! I also showed our librarian! Here’s hoping there will be more and more printings!
Janet
Thank you so much, Janet! That just makes my day to hear that. Using poetry time for enjoyment and a math break–lovely! Thank you for your support and for helping to spread poetry love:>)

Most excellent and WELL DESERVED! I’m reading STAMPEDE right now and loving it! Salas Power!
Thanks! Stampede, sadly, has come NOWHERE NEAR ever needing a reprint. Ah well.
