Woohoo! I’m so excited to share that Finding Family is now out in the world! People have been so generous in helping to spread the word. Teacher, author-illustrator, and poet Jena Benton posted a beautiful Simply 7 interview with me yesterday, and her questions made me realize something that I had totally missed while working on the project! I’d be so grateful if you popped over to Jena’s blog to read and comment!
Also, thank you to School Library Journal for their lovely review, which says the book “…presents the differences between loon and mallard behavior that will certainly spark fruitful discussion among readers in addition to serving as inspiration for further research on natural science topics…VERDICT An entertaining and informative story that will find a home in many collections.”
