Y’all, I honestly just cannot get my online act together this year. Sigh. This month, the Poetry Sisters wrote haiku sonnets. I didn’t make it to the live write, and it was a scramble to have anything to share. But I turned an experience from last weekend into a draft. (Here’s a link to a less than a minute video I shared about it.)
Haiku and sonnets seem so diametrically opposed to me, so I couldn’t wrap my head around this form. And, to be fair, I had about zero minutes to think about it. But…here goes nothing.
