Saturday, it felt like early summer, with temps in the 70s and sun belting out its almost-summer song. Today it was damp and chilly, and tonight (Monday night), it’s snowing. Ah, Minnesota spring. Gotta love it!

Indeed! I love that we cannot predict or decide on the weather. Even though sometimes I wish for different weather, I love that I cannot control it! Thank you for helping me remember this…it’s something important to hold onto in WNY springs too. 🙂 xx
I really like the line with “relief falls” and the feeling of surrendering. I’ve been reading all of your wonderbreak poems, and it’s encouraging me to keep an eye out for the little things. (I’m grateful we didn’t get the snow up here in Duluth, though, I’ve got to admit!)
Thanks, Elissa. That’s my whole goal:>) Our snow was there one evening and the next morning, and by afternoon, it was totally gone, as if we had imagined it in some sort of spring delirium!
